Staff and John did what was expected

Had high hopes for this visit. Just moved to the area and was looking to establish care at a facility convenient to my home. Dr Henry Moon was judgmental and discriminatory to me the moment he walked in the exam room. He questioned how I found him since he’s not in network with my insurance. (He’s the first one recommended in network with my insurance bcbs through a quick internet search.) He spent the beginning of the exam on his computer not engaging or making eye contact. When he got to my list of medicines he went over what he was comfortable with vs what he wasn’t. He then asked where I would like the prescriptions sent to. My wife spoke up and said Publix at Hamilton mill so she wouldn’t have to cross the interstate and go to CVS. Dr. Moon then responds with “well you’re going to have to cross the interstate anyways” my wife responds with no, we live towards Hoschton so we wouldn’t have to cross the interstate. He then asks our zip code - I tell him 30519. He says yes that’s Buford you will have to cross the interstate.. confused about why this is an ongoing back and forth, I respond with no we live the other way. Since he didn’t believe me, he proceeds to go to my patient chart information and google my address in attempts to prove that he was correct because he has lived here for years… after googling he realized he was wrong and told us we had the wrong zip code. (My wife’s family has owned this home since 1994 so I’m not sure how we have the wrong zip code) After hesitantly getting passed that, he expressed extreme concerns for my blood pressure, that has been monitored by my prior doctor for years. Which he made sure to point out that my prior doctor is a nurse practitioner not a doctor, (again, uncomfortable) I asked his recommendations for my blood pressure and through his snarking and laughing, he said exercise. Strenuous exercise. I then proceeded to ask him what kind of exercise and he would not answer anymore questions. He was rude, he made me feel discriminated against for the way I look, and the medicine I take. Going to the doctor is hard enough, and he made it miserably uncomfortable in every way.

The attention of the receptionists or the girls who greet the patients was very bad, which is why I didn't like the service.

I was really impressed with this doctor and staff! Everyone is so professional but kind. You don't get this anymore. But I felt so comfortable and relaxed.

I have been seeing Dr. Rafeedie since 2010. When he moved from the previous medical facility, they refused to give me any information and expected me to see someone else. I left without seeing any other doctor. I went online looking for him, and although it took months, I eventually found where he was practicing. I believe Dr. Rafeedie most likely saved my life twice. Once, when he suspected I had bladder cancer, and he called a specialist and asked if he could see me if he sent me over right then. The specialist agreed and the result was that I did have bladder cancer and was consequently treated and survived that cancer. Again, I saw him in 2012 complaining of a slight stomach issue, which I guess he suspected something was more serious than what I thought was going on. He referred me to a specialist and the result was colon cancer. I believe Dr. Rafeedie is the most knowledgeable and most caring doctor that I have ever known in my whole life of 87 years. I have seen many doctors, having had 10 surgeries while also surviving three cancers. You wont be disappointed seeing Dr. Rafeedie. He tries very hard to provide the best treatment possible, greets you with a warm smile and a handshake, never revealing any stress. I sincerely appreciate the care he has given me these last 16 years of my life. and will continue seeing him the rest of my life,

I have entrusted Dr. Majoch and his team with my family's healthcare for 30 years! The practiced professionalism and consistent expertise exhibited by everyone in his office is unmatched, and he is an excellent and trusted physician. I especially lift up Lesny Avila and also phlebotomist J.J. who make every visit a pleasurable, smooth and efficient experience.

I have been a long time patient and have never had a bad experience with his care. If nit fir him thyroid cancer would have gotten me several years ago. He observed increasingly large goiter and lymph nodes and referred me to a cancer specialist and surgeon.

Worth the wait... :-) While there is always a wait at this location, John Turner is a tremendous diagnostician - he consistently figures out what is going on by taking the time to listen to you and considering how symptoms that may seem unrelated contribute to one single issue. I come to him when it seems many other doctors put a band-aid on one symptom and send you on your way. Not knocking all other doctors, but when you don't know what's going on, John Turner will get to the bottom of it!

Linda Collin’s is a beautiful soul.she is my favorite doctor I always think of her when I think of Reagan Medical Hamilton Mill and there are several others that I do think of from time to time but she’s gonna go to girl. My experience was a very prompt and positive.

Dr Turner saw my son who at the time had no insurance. We were quoted 175.00 for his physical plus an additional 25 for another test. I agreed. The bill came with an additional 280 dollars. I have called billing twice. All I get is someone will call back and never do. My son has called with same response. We stopped by office and got the someone will call you back. I have already paid 200 which I was told is the total cost and now get a bill for 280 more! Dr Turner is an amazing doctor

I wish there was a 0 stars. It was horrible. The care I recieved from PA Michael Johnson was shameful. Totally did not listen to anything I said. Didn’t mention my oxygen sat that was 91%. Didn’t look at my chest Xray. I have emphysema and cannot afford to have my concerns neglected this way. Also as an ICU nurse I can say his care was shameful. Reagan Medical do better!

De Moon is the best!

So I called ahead to ask about getting some X-rays, and they told me it was walk-in only. Cool, no problem… except maybe mention that your Johns Creek location doesn’t actually exist right now? That would’ve been super helpful info before I drove there like it was still a thing. Fast forward to the Suwanee office — I walk in, explain why I’m there, and they tell me someone will be with me “in a bit.” Well, apparently “a bit” is code for let’s see how long someone in pain can sit in a chair without snapping, because I waited over an hour. Just sitting there. In pain. Not ideal when the whole reason for the visit is… you guessed it — PAIN. Honestly, the communication could use some serious improvement, and maybe staffing too? I get that things get busy, but wow. If you’re going to offer walk-ins, maybe don’t make it feel like a sit-in.

I had an excellent experience at Reagan Medical Center. From the moment I arrived with severe esophagus pain, the care was fast and professional. Shawn, my provider in the emergency room, was kind and thorough. João from the CT scan, Michelle from the ultrasound, and Adelia at the front desk were all amazing. The service was quick, they ran several tests, my insurance covered everything, but their prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Michael Johnson was a breath of fresh air to deal with this morning. He listened to my concerns, explained what he thought the issue was and followed up as he promised. I’m new to the area, my first time to see Michael and Reagan Med Center. I’m so pleased to have a new urgent care that was pleasant to deal with. The girls at the front desk and triage were wonderful as well.

The wait after my appointment time. One hour twenty minutes wait. No good.

I had good experience here, wait times were short and the two front desk ladies, Kaitlyn and Winnie were both helpful during and after the visit.

Dr. Garcia is very patient with his clients. He gets the job done. He makes sure you are feeling better before you leave. He makes sure you have the medication that is recommended for you to keep you well.

Prescribed a bunch of unnecessary tests not covered by insurance. Did not post ANY test results to patient portal, resulting in delays in treatment. One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Dr. M has been my family practitioner since I moved here in 1990. He knows everything that I’ve gone through everything that I’ve been sick with his really great with me. I know I’m getting old but he has to remind me sometimes but he’s always taking really good care of me And very accurate in his diagnosis and I don’t know what I’ll do if I could never have him to help me again. I’d have to start all over and that would be awful. I hope that never happens.

Dr Moon’s online communication about labs is thorough and helpful. The details allow me to consider and research decisions I must make about lifestyle and future testing, whereas in-office brief discussion can be obscured by the bulk of problems at my age. He’s the best! The staff are great too! I went in for a lab-only visit and the nurse who drew blood was skilled and friendly, as were the other staff.

Your med tech that cleaned my ear was amazing. She saved my life and hearing!! She was thorough and amazing.

I appreciate the friendly attitude and pragmatic approach. I also understand that people's insurance or lack of it does often restrict the speed and level of treatment. It would be great if you had some options to help people without insurance to still receive the care they need. I was not able to pay for the CT scan they wanted me to get in order to know how to deal with my injury, and now I'm out $75 for the visit but without resolving my problem. So, I still can't afford the CT scan and now I have $75 less that I could have used to pay for treatment elsewhere where I could have received the actual treatment. Instead, I'm still stuck with a shooting pain in my right arm and shoulder but now my hand is going numb and I'm having trouble with my ability to grip things. Maybe if there were some sort of payment option I would have some relief and wouldn't be so terrified of what is going to happen if I lose feeling in my hand completely and am unable to do my job in order to pay for further treatment. Should we really just be sending people away without the life changing care because they don't have thousands of dollars to pay upfront for an urgent medical problem? Does it really cost hundreds of dollars to turn on a machine and scan a person for an injury? I know MRI and CT machines are expensive but seriously, a 15 minute scan doesn't cost you $500 to $3000 every time you use it. I know insurance companies have created a falsely inflated economy for most if not all forms of medical care but the persuit of more and more money has long ago ruined the healthcare system in our country and it will never improve if someone doesn't start making changes to their priorities. Sorry for the speech but I really am afraid of what is going to happen to me just because I don't have insurance at the moment. Of course I don't want you to give me treatment for free, but now it's a real possibility that becoming unable to do my job could end up costing me everything simply because the cost of basic medical care is so far beyond my income level. The way our health insurance system works requires everyone to pay for coverage whether they need treatment or not on the off chance that they might become ill or injured at some point in the future. Yes we all need care once in a while, some people need it frequently, but we have allowed an industry to artificially inflate the cost of care to the point that it is almost impossible to live in this country without paying them for a service that they don't even provide. I know there are a handful of places to get at least some form of minimal treatment for an injury but even then it is usually only enough to keep the person from dieing only to leave them on their own for aftercare or ongoing needs, and the bills for such care are so expensive that many people will just suffer with the pain rather than getting into massive medical debt over an emergency or something else that is completely out of their control.

Dr.Rafeedie is an excellent physician. Very friendly, ask if you have any questions or concerns and provides you time to discuss and he addresses each concern. My only complaint is the front desk staff and the lack of professionalism and friendliness to the public. If you don't like your job quit. When you work the front desk you have to learn to deal with all situations when addressing current and future patients.

My spouse and I have been patients at RMC since 2019, making the effort to travel an hour each time because we trusted the care and professionalism. Unfortunately, our recent experience has left us disappointed and questioning that trust. When scheduling our recent annual wellness exams, I specifically mentioned that these were preventive visits, and we were assured by the staff that they would be covered under our insurance. At the front desk, we reconfirmed this while providing our insurance card. During the appointment, the nurse offered flu shots, and I asked directly if they were covered. She confidently said they were free, so we agreed. To our surprise, we received a bill after the visit for services we were never informed would incur charges. In the past, any additional costs like blood work or ECGs were clearly discussed beforehand, so this lack of transparency was unexpected and frustrating. We’ve also reached out to the billing and grievance departments multiple times via email to resolve this issue, but there’s been no response. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the practice. I urge RMC to review this matter and waive the charges, as this situation was entirely avoidable with proper communication. Experiences like this make it hard to continue recommending or trusting a place we once valued.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Majoch is what Dr.s should be like. It took 40 something years to find a Great Dr. and I couldn’t be more pleased I found Dr. Majoch. And he also has the best team working for him they care and they are very professional and personal and very helpful.

We have always been pleased with all the providers at this clinic and Michael was no exception. I felt that I had his undivided attention and he was very thorough with questions asked and tests given. He was able to determine from the tests that we had the flu and prescribed the appropriate medication. I felt comfort that he gave us both breathing treatments. By far the best urgent care facility in this area.

He is sharp and personable. He has good common sense with a nice personality.

Dr. Poddar is stealing from his patients and is guilty of fraudulent and unethical billing practices. Avoid his practice at all costs. If you must go, do not pay them a dime upfront. I am not the only one. Check the BBB and the Reagan Medical Center review sites for a laundry list of complaints. He should be in jail.

The technician who performed my mammogram was professional and provided comforting words to ease any stress that I felt. It was a very pleasant experience.

Nurse Amber was an amazing person to have helping me. She was kind friendly & patient.
